Just over the border in the Dordgone, forty minutes from my house is the fairy tale Chateau de La Valouze where I have had the pleasure to photograph many weddings over the past years.
I was there several times this summer and my last wedding of the season was here with Anna and Vicktor who had travelled with their family and friends from Sweden to celebrate with a small and intimate ceremony in the grounds of the Chateau.
I had been in contact with Anna and Vicktor leading up to their wedding day and they told me that they would love to do a "first look" not something that most couples do here in France but it is a lovely moment for the couple to see each other dressed in their wedding outfits and to just have little bit of quiet time together, it also gives me a great opportunity to grab some very candid shots of them before the ceremony.
