Hi, I'm Ian
the photographer behind A Very French Wedding.
I live full time in a quiet and beautiful part of south west France not far from Bordeaux with my wife Louise and our three fur kids, Enzo (in the picture), Evie and Benji, all rescues. I love cycling and swimming and would have loved to have been a DJ in a previous life!
I was born in South Wales, I have lived and worked as a professional photographer in London and Sydney before moving to France to continue my adventure.
I like nothing more than making your wedding day dreams a reality in a relaxed and informal way.
Let me guide you through one of the happiest day of your life and show you just how effortless it can feel to be you. No one is comfortable having their photograph taken but I promise I can make it as easy as possible for you without taking you away from your family and friends for too long on your special day!

I BELIEVE THAT WEDDINGS ARE ABOUT THE PEOPLE FIRST.
I photograph with my heart, and revel in the emotion, guiding you when you need it and stepping back when you don't. I pay attention to the quiet moments, the in-between interactions and the relationships that make your day what it is. My goal is to deliver a gallery and make you feel like being surrounded by everything and everyone that truly matters to you. I try to blend into the background as much as possible, some of my couples tell me at the end of the day that they didn't even notice me during their ceremony.
For me the day is about captured moments that need no script. Wedding day coverage starts from 1900 euros.

My pricing starts at 1900euros for all day coverage, including drone coverage depending on the distance from my home, I can also offer adjusted pricing for shorter days.
I offer a preferential price for Perfect Little Weddings
